Why do I do this?

Some people have been asking me if I’m legit with these giveaways. The short answer is YES!

The long answer is this:
A few years ago my father suddenly passed away and left a huge hole in my life. Ever since I have wanted to live a better life, and I think I am. I’m work hard, do good things for other people, donate to charity, and of course hold these giveaways! I love making people happy, i rather give presents then getting some for myself. I have always been like that. Even when i dont have any money i try to find cheap but good games i can give away to some lucky person. A lot of the games I’ve given away I don’t even own myself :)

Then what do I get out of this?
Satisfaction mostly. As I said before, I love making people happy!
The ads you see on this page do not generate more then a few cents a day and I’m actually loosing money on this being unemployed and all. Even if the ads would generate money, I’ve decided to donate all revenue to Childs Play Charity. I think they do awesome stuff for sick children.

You didn’t win?
I wish I could give everyone the game that they wanted, but that’s not financially possible. Maybe in the future if I find a vein of gold :)

How many games have I given away so far?
To this date 21/12 2011 I have given away eleven, yes 11 copies of Minecraft and still have 1 giftcode left for a future giveaway. Also I have given away 3 copies of Magicka, 2 copies of Bastion,  2 copies of Rock of Ages and 3 copies of Terraria, 2 copies of Skyrim, 1 copy of Assassin’s Creed Revelations and randomly several indie games on Facebook. And many more I cant remember at the time.

I hope this clears up some questions about the legitimacy of these giveaways. I don’t even post the winners name if they don’t want to, I always double check that I have the right email address to the winner before sending the game. And please, don’t be afraid of asking questions, I check comments, spamfolder and email at least once every day. Don’t be afraid of commenting, giving constructive criticism or just wanna talk! I’m very friendly :)
