Wrath of the Lich King

World of Warcraft commercials

0

I was browsing Youtube earlier tonight and came across some World of Warcraft commercials that i thought was funny. I had never seen them before and they made me giggle a bit. One of them are a Coca Cola commercial that i found pretty cheesy, but damn funny. Mountain Dew did a WoW commercial aswell and altho it is better then the Coke version, it still aint that bad ass!  Then there are some other random ads, for example the one with Mr. T and the Mohawk Grenade.

Trollfest on Ahn’Qiraj

1

The Trollfest event TotalBiscuit announced on the EU server of Ahn’Qiraj, got a little bit out of hand. People disconnected all the time, YELLING, shouting, spamming, GM’s trying to get people out of there and a HELL of a lot of Trolls. Here are some screenshots from it.

Live troll event by TotalBiscuit

2

As the title says, TotalBiscuit is throwing a “event” in Durotar – Sen’Jin Village. What is going to happen you ask? I have no idea, no more then I will be there on Friday: at 22.00 for us Swede’s. And remember, this is on LIVE, no Cataclysm beta or PTR copy needed.

The funny thing is, i made a character on AQ server, a troll ofc and went to Sen’Jin, believe it or not, there are already about 10 lvl 1 trolls there already, and its only Monday! :)

Here are some of them dancing and celebrating the coming of TotalBiscuit! (After awhile more and more people showed up, even a guild was formed, called Trollfest)

Here is TotalBiscuit’s message to the world: Join me for a very special filming event on Ahn’Qiraj EU this Friday. Even US players and those without active accounts can take part, just create an EU trial, make a troll and park yourself in Sen’jin. Is there a troll world record? Because if there is, I intend to break it. TROLLFEST 2010 Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:00pm BST/11:00pm CEST/5pm EST – Ahn’Qiraj EU, Horde-side, Sen’jin Village. BE THERE (and don’t PvP flag you scrubs)

There we go, got The Captain’s Booty achievement on my toon’s who did not do it last year.
If you haven’t done it, just go to Booty Bay and talk to the pirates on the roof of the bank, next to the horde flight point.

Pirate’s Day

0

Tomorrow it’s Pirate’s Day!
One of my favorite ingame holidays, even tho it only last one day i love it. (Pirate’s > Ninjas)
What are you gonna do on Pirate’s Day? Me, I’m gonna drink grog and sing sea shanties in Booty Bay with the other pirate’s.

Here are some info from Wow-europe.com:
Yarrrr matey, it be Pirates’ Day! Commoners wearing pirate garb have appeared in all the world’s cities with the news that the Dread Captain DeMeza and her crew have landed in Booty Bay and declared it Pirates’ Day! If you are brave enough to share a drink with her, you may have what it takes to become an honorary crew member for the day.

First, talk to any pirate commoner to receive a costume to help you get into the spirit of Pirates’ Day. Once appropriately attired, head down to Booty Bay to join in the fun. There, look for Dread Captain Demeza and her crew, who have taken over the roof of the Booty Bay bank and auction house. By talking to Captain DeMeza, players become an honorary crew member and transform into a pirate of their race and gender for 12 hours. This costume buff may be clicked off but persists through combat, mounting, death, and so on.
Other highlights of the holiday include:

A large crowd of pirate revelers (“Dread Crew”) who dance, talk, eat, drink, laugh, and shoot fireworks.
Ask Baron Revilgaz what he thinks of the visitors.
The Tauren First Mate Hapana and his giant South Seas assault parrot, Nyuni.
A trio of cannons and cannoneers who periodically fire out into the bay – at times, just barely missing the sails of the incoming transport. Those crazy corsairs.
Cap’n Slappy and Ol’ Chumbucket, two curiously-named pirates.
Lively pirate-themed music that plays upon the rooftop.

Wrathgate

This is my personal favorite amongst the in game cinematics. It’s featured in Wrath of the Lich King expansion after a series of quests.
